On the occasion of the NMC week, a guest lecture on "Patient Safety" was delivered by Prof. Ashok Puranik, Executive director of AIIMS, Guwahati on 25-09-2023 in the conference hall of Nalbari Medical College. With his vast and vivid experience and deep knowledge at both national & international level, the faculties and nursing staff was enlightened on the various aspects of patient care safety system and different approaches of rectification. The talk was followed by an extensive interactive discussion between Prof A. Puranik and the faculties and staff of NMCH. The event ended with a vote of thanks from Principal cum Chief Superintendent, Prof (Dr.) Babul Kumar Bezbaruah with an assurance to continue similar interactions in future for the benefit of the Medical College.
